Samuel S. Wermuth, P.E.

Sam Wermuth is president of S. S. Wermuth and Associates and serves as managing partner for W. R. McCleave & Associates, two consulting firms specializing in supply chain innovation, market research, business operations improvement, measuring & reporting value-added services, and relationship management for industrial distributors, manufacturers and their customers. Sam has over 25 years of industry experience in executive operations, sales and marketing roles and has served as an advisor, coach and trainer to a wide variety of distributor and industrial clients.

Sam brings his clients a market-proven set of analytical, planning, training and business operation skills. His background includes a successful record of developing new markets, increasing profits, managing high-profile projects like CRM implementation and strategic pricing, rebuilding business units, problem resolution, reducing costs and improving productivity. In addition to a using an interactive, hands-on approach to client skill enhancement, Sam applies a strong working knowledge of current information management technology to facilitate communications and maximize productivity. Sam received his BS degree from Virginia Tech in mechanical engineering. He is a registered professional engineer in North Carolina.

Sam’s clients represent a broad range of supply chain roles as manufacturers, distributors, end-user customers, trade associations, and consortiums in a variety of industries.
